Inspired by early American barns, this rustic construction is designed to augment our client’s main house’s program with a more conservative budget. The design consists of an exposed reclaimed wood structure with large barn doors, using rustic post and beam construction. An emphasis on openness was achieved through the creation of atriums allowing a visual connection between floors.
The project houses a growing Antique muscle car collection and hobbyist’s garage on the ground floor, and is overlooked by the weekenders entertainment floor above, housing a Movie room, a GT Racing Game, Billiards, a Ping Pong & Bar area, as well as a Weekend Office.
